Joahbox June 2019

I have to admit that I barely ever choose beauty boxes, mostly because finding the one which I'll really like is hard. Local boxes don't really fit my standards but there are options like Joahbox - a box full of Kbeauty products. It's a nice change after seeing many natural boxes and other boxes with the main theme. What's inside June box and is it worth it?

About Joah Box

Joahbox is a K-beauty subscription box, each month you can find in a box 5 to 7 products from Korean brands -  makeup & skincare. You can choose one box for $35.95, 3 boxes, 6 boxes or 12 boxes for 33.95$. Obviously, a yearly subscription is the cheapest option if you plan to get Joahbox every month and I believe it's worth it. Why? Just have a look of June box.

What's inside the June box?

June box contains 5 different products from brands like Missha, Rire, Farm Stay, I'm Sorry For My Skin and The Plant Base. Some product has different versions so you can find a different lipstick colour than your friend, etc. Obviously, it can be tricky but hopefully, for Joahbox this system works well

Joahbox June 2019 The Plant Base Collagen Ampoule

The Plant Base Collagen Ampoule | $29

Hericium Erinaceum (Mushroom) Extract(76.53%), Glycerin, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract(180 mg), Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Panthenol, Adenosine, Beta-Glucan, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil
The main star of this box is The Plant Base Collagen Ampoule and to be honest, this product made me really interested because I wanted to purchase it before but the availability of this brand is very low. It contains 76.52% of mushroom extract and Syn-Coll Peptide, this product should help with collagen synthesis. If you expect that this ampoule won't work because collagen works as a film ingredient and can't really go through the layers of the skin you'll be surprised because there's no collagen at all but ingredients which we can find in this product make it a product that can really give you effects. According to the brand, this product is cruelty-free and free from 18 substances like Phenoxyethanol, Parabens, TEA, BHT, BHA (no, it's not Salicylic Acid but the bad twin), Pigments, Synthetic Fragrance, Mineral Oil and more. I really like the way of application, it doesn't smell like anything and the colour kinda reminds me of a mushroom.

RiRe Air-Fit Velvet Lipstick

RiRe Air-Fit Velvet Lipstick | $17.50

RiRe is a brand I know thanks to the lip products - affordable lip products. This time we've got a choice - 3 different shades, the one I have is L02. This product is promoted as a long-lasting lipstick and only one thin layer of the product should be enough a couple of hours straight. I have to admit that the shades stay longer on my lips, maybe it's not very intensive after 2 hours but you can still see it's still there. It's a lipstick which I can easily wear during the heatwave. The application is easier than applying a lip tint. It feels like velvet on the lips and the shade L02 fits me so well, definitely a shade which I can use every day.

Ultru I'm Sorry For My Skin Galactomyces Drylock Mask

Ultru I'm Sorry For My Skin Galactomyces Drylock Mask | $10

I'm sorry for my skin product might look like a totally new brand for you but I'm sure if you shop for K-beauty often then you might know this brand. Who says no to a good sheet mask during the summer? Sheet mask straight from the fridge is the best thing during the summer even if it can be tricky still I can't imagine my existence without sheet masks during the summer. It's made out of Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate in 69% and it's full of amazing ingredients such as other ferments, Ceramide NP, Adenosine, Aloe and Cholesterol.

Missha Length or Volume Boost Cara - Line

Missha Length or Volume Boost Cara - Line | $9

This box made me aware of one thing - Missha x Line Friends collaboration is the best thing ever! This time we had a choice between 2 versions, I got the Volume version which fits me well because my eyelashes are long but they are really straight and keeps smudging all around my eyes. The box contains stickers but also a bookmark which is a clever idea, this got me because the collab looks cute, the wand might be a bit too big for my eyes but the formula itself looks nice - am I the only person who hates mascaras from drugstores? They all look so dry! Missha isn't dry at all and that's a plus point! I've tried it and I'm surprised because it's been ages since I found a mascara that really works on my eyelashes, it doesn't smudge and the formula works well with my lenses.

Missha Length or Volume Boost Cara - Line

Farm Stay Aloe Vera Moisture Soothing Gel | $3

Aloe gels have many good uses - it works on skin and hair, it can be a base for a mask but I've got one problem with it - my skin is not a fan of aloe. Still, this bag seems ideal for summer and I'm sure there will be a huge number of people who will enjoy aloe gel this summer. Keep it in a fridge for a better effect.
