My 2017 Skin Favourites Based On Asian Beauty Routine Missha Frida Kahlo Berrisom

2017 was a really good year if it comes to my skincare - I've found many new brands and products. I even found my "Holy Grails" of skincare that helped me with my skin. To sum up, this year I've decided to select couple sections and show you a couple of my favourite 2017 products with short reviews - not all of them are going to be K-beauty but I hope that you'll see with this post that adding Western products to Asian Beauty routines is possible.

Before we start this post, I want to mention that all the products that I got as PR gifts or all the product gifted for a purpose of a review are marked with *.

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter

Oil-based cleanser: The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter
If I buy a product more than once it means - it must be worth it! Cleansing Butter became my favourite because the availability is quite ok - even if in some countries TBS does not have online shops and the ingredients aren't perfect is one of the product I was able to buy offline for less about 10€ and it works with makeup.

By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash

Cleanser: By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash*
I'm a fan of green tea as long as I can't smell the "fishy" scent of it. Unfortunately, this cleanser has this scent and pH is higher than producer claims but still, the formula is very gentle and using it once a week can help you.

Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect Essential Scrub 2X

Exfoliator: Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect Essential Scrub 2X
Mechanical peelings aren't recommended for my skin since they can make small, non-visible for human's eye wounds and make my acne problem worse but there's something about this Skinfood scrub that made me wanna buy a full-sized package.

The Body Shop Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask

Mask: The Body Shop Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask
TBS mask series is quite expensive and I literally wanted to collect the whole series (only 2 masks to go) but I've decided to start with a first mask, this Ginseng & Rice mask smells so good that I needed to buy it, soon after first use, it became my favourite face mask. The texture reminds me of blended rice.

Neogen WYT Oxygen AHA Bubble Peeling Mask

Sheet Mask: Neogen WYT Oxygen AHA Bubble Peeling Mask
Who doesn't like bubble masks? I keep scaring my whole family with this mask - they are not used to see people wearing a black mask with bubbles at 2 am walking from kitchen to the bathroom. The fit isn't perfect but the texture of mask and all the bubbles are a perfect combination.

Swanicoco Bio Ferment Fermentation Snail Care Skintoner

Toner: Swanicoco Bio Ferment Fermentation Snail Care Skintoner*
I made a review of this product. Even if snails in skincare aren't my favourite, they do work on acne-prone skin. The scent of this toner is pure herbs with some fruits but the texture is not as the toner from Western brands - it's way thicker and rich.

Whamisa Olive Leaf Mist

Mist: Whamisa Olive Leaf Mist
Whamisa is a brand that based all their skincare line on fermented ingredients, Olive Leaf Mist isn't different, I've tried Rose Mist too but Olive one will always be my favourite mist because it looks cool, it smells so fresh and it worked on my combo skin.

COSRX Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power Essence

Essence: COSRX Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power Essence
You can love this essence or hate it. For me - both at the same time, but the reason why I have decided to show you this essence as my favourite product for 2017 is because - it makes your skin brighter, even if in my case the side effect of using it was acne, still it did it's work well - my skin was brighter.

Swanicoco FGF 99% Pure Ampoule

Ampoule: Swanicoco FGF 99% Pure Ampoule*
There's a full review of this product but to make it short FGF - Fibroblast Growth Factor is a peptide used to speed up the healing process, I find it very effective in a acne-prone skin routine, my skin after 2 months of using an ampoule looks way better, the only thing I have to complain is the price and the amount of the product.

Troiareuke Acsen Selemix Serum

Serum: Troiareuke Acsen Selemix Serum*
Troiareuke is a brand which you can find in Spas all over Korea and even outside, this brand is quite popular through AB Instagramers as well as AB bloggers, the cushions from this brand are like a dream of every beauty addict but Serum is a product that in my opinion is way better than cushion - the full review of this product is on blog and I hope that this year I'll finally share the review of cushion.

Korres Wild Rose Oil

Oil: Korres Wild Rose Oil
Another product which I keep buying all the time, even if  I do not use Wild Rose Oil as often than I used to, I cannot imagine my skincare without it. This product doesn't only smell and looks nice, it really works and for a long time, it was a base of my skincare routine because of brightening properties of the rose oil.

Spot Treatment: COSRX Acne Patches
Some people love them, some people hate them, what's so magical about these patches - if you try to pop acne, all you need to do is to put a patch over a pimple and it'll be gone. Unfortunately, for me - if I put it on a pimple without previously stabbing it with a needle it does not work.

Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream

Eye Cream: Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream
I had mixed opinions about this cream until I was able to measure the moisture level of my under eye area. The formula is reached and the product is long-lasting, it gives my skin enough moisture for many hours. I'll totally buy it again but before I need to test another version of this cream.

Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream

Moisturizer: Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream
I was a fan of this cream for a long time and I still am, even if I've decided to try something new and to be honest I haven't found a better cream yet. The whole review is already on the blog.

Suncream: The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Essence SPF 50 PA++++
I can't say that I love this cream but it's one of the most interesting options I had this year. This product smells like a pure alcohol but it protects my skin from shine and sun.

Sleeping Pack: Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
I've tried Klairs Sleeping Mask and even if I like it a lot, still Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is going to be my favourite because it's more lightweight than Klairs but still it does its job.

Wayskin Skin Analyzing Wearable Device

Beauty related device/gadget: Wayskin
After a month of using Wayskin, my skincare has changed drastically, I've started o understand my skin better.

Makeup: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
What does a lip sleeping mask do here? I use this mask for a gradient lip makeup and it works as well, it's a mask worth a try, the scent is relaxing.

These are my choices. Tell me what's your favourite product of this year?
