APLB Glutathione Niacinamide Sheet Mask

I have to admit, sheet masks are a topic which I barely mention, because you can love them or hate them. It’s challenging to provide comprehensive reviews of products that we typically purchase as a single item. So, I’ve decided to start a monthly post featuring all the masks I’ve tried each month. In January, I tested sheet masks from Dr Jart+, IOPE and Mediheal.

What’s a sheet mask?

A sheet mask is usually a face mask made out of cellulose or other fabrics. Such a mask is usually soaked in serum or essence and depends on the product you leave it on your face for up to 20 minutes. There are different types of sheet masks. The most popular is the cellulose one, but you can also find hydrogel masks made out of agar or carrageenan. Sometimes you can find masks made out of foil. Lately, collagen masks have become popular. They are usually also made out of agar and carrageenan.

How often should you use sheet masks?

To be honest, there’s no strict rule on how often a sheet mask should be used. Fan Bingbing, a Chinese actress, said in interviews that she’s using at least two sheet masks per day. She even has her own sheet mask brand. Personally, I would advise using them as often as you need them, but if you leave a hydrogel mask like Biodance for 4 hours, don’t do this daily.

If you want to see all the masks from this post and where to shop for them in one place, feel free to check shopmy list.

APLB Glutathione Niacinamide Sheet Mask

Water, Centella Asiatica Extract (13.5%), Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Nelumbo Nucifera Extract, Artemisia Annua Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Saccharomyces Ferment, Niacinamide (1,000ppm), Glutathione (1,000ppm), Solanum Melongena (Eggplant) Fruit Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Beta-Glucan, Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Madecassic Acid, Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Squalane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Glyceryl Stearate, Propanediol, Disodium EDTA, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Cellulose Gum, Xanthan Gum, Inulin, Cellulose, Glucose, Fructose, Polyglucuronic Acid, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydroxyacetophenone, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Glycerin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Carbomer, Arginine

If you search for a mask that costs less than $1, then I got you covered. It's a mask that contains 1,000 ppm of Niacinamide, 1,000 ppm of Glutathione and 13,5% cica. Although it’s a small amount of niacinamide, it caused me some redness in the nose area. I can’t say anything bad about the ingredients since this formula is pretty decent, but don’t expect too much from a mask like this. It has a good fit, it sticks nicely, and it has enough essence for such an affordable mask.

Still, it didn’t give me a long lasting hydration. If you have a party and you want to refresh your skin, this is your pick.

Dr.Jart+ Dermask™ Vital Hydra Solution PRO

Dr.Jart+ Dermask™ Vital Hydra Solution PRO

Aqua, Butylene Glycol, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Glyceryl Glucoside, Glycerin, Trehalose, Betaine, Erythritol, Saccharide Isomerate, Allantoin, Methyl Trimethicone, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1.2-Hexanediol, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tromethamine, Dipropylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Glyceryl Stearate, Citric Acid, Sodium Phytate, Sodium Citrate, Hydroxyacetophenone

Dr.Jart+ is one of the brands that a few years ago was very popular, and lately I feel like people forgot about this brand since nowadays many more affordable and good masks have better availability. My love for this brand is strong. This mask is a part of the Vital Hydra Solution™ line, which is focused on hydration. It might look like these ingredients are nothing interesting, but the main focus is on Hyaluronic Acid, which, in this case, you can find under Sodium Hyaluronate, a salt derived from Hyaluronic Acid. The main benefit of this form? It has a smaller molecule, so it gets deeper in your skin and provides hydration on a deeper layer.

Dr.Jart+ decided to use solutions like Pentavitin™. What’s hidden under this name is Saccharide Isomerate. According to the brand, it promotes natural filaggrin in rebulding skin barrier and its functioning. There's also the SJC GG complex that combines water, glycerin and glyceryl glucose. The main focus is on hydration. The main benefit of this mask is that it’s free from alcohol and scent ingredients.

The fabric is really good, and it has a nice fit. I never went wrong with this mask. It’s a safe classic. I got it at the local Sephora, and I would recommend checking your local stores since Dr.Jart+ belongs to Estée Lauder Companies. If you don’t follow the news, it’s also one of the brands that Estée Lauder Companies are trying to sell currently.

IOPE Retinol Serum Gel Mask

IOPE Retinol Serum Gel Mask

Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Ceratonia Siliqua (Carob) Gum, Betaine, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cellulose Gum, Ethylhexyl Olivate, Xanthan Gum, Polyacrylate-13, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Carrageenan, Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Dextrin, Pyrus Communis (Pear) Fruit Extract, Glucomannan, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Adenosine, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Trehalose, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Phytate, Hydrogenated Poly(C6-14 Olefin), Iris Florentina Root Extract, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Cucumis Melo (Melon) Fruit Extract, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Hedera Helix (Ivy) Leaf/Stem Extract, Kojyl Methylenedioxycinnamate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Coptis Japonica Root Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Collagen Extract, Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, Retinol, Citric Acid, Ectoin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Carbomer, Sodium Dna, BHT, Tocopherol, Acacia Senegal Gum, Propylene Glycol Alginate (Pure Retinol 23Ppm)

IOPE is one of the brands which I strongly like, and it’s a brand popular for its retinol products. Although this mask was released in 2025, just like the 12th gen of IOPE’s retinol, this mask belongs to the 11th generation. It’s based on 1% Retinol RX™, a patented nano-retinol complex. From what I understand, what’s inside this complex is a combination of Granactive Retinoid, Enapsulated Retinol, Pure Retinol, and Bio Seletinoid™. It only has 23ppm of pure retinol, which is only 0,0023%. It’s a small dose, but it’s a mask which you can use in the morning or evening, and it’s an additional care.

The texture of this mask is interesting since it combines banding gauze and collagen hydrogel. It can be tricky to open this mask and put it on, but the texture is comfortable. Sadly, the problem for me was in a fit. I had to cut this mask into two halves. I finally understand why brands prefer to release a hydrogel mask made out of two parts instead of creating one big mask. On the other hand, banding gauze makes it easier for the mask to stick to the face. I have to admit that it gave me an amazing glow, and I do plan to repurchase this mask.

IOPE Retinol Serum Gel Mask is available on Global Amore Mall (7$/mask) and YesStyle* where it currently costs around $8/mask. You can use my code BETWEENDOTS to save on your order.

Mediheal Capsule 100 Bio Seconderm Hydroᵝ

Mediheal Capsule 100 Bio Seconderm Hydroᵝ

Water, Glycerin, Glyceryth – 26, Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Beta-Glucan, Ethylhexylglycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Hedera Helix (Ivy) Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Extract, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1, Diethoxyethyl Succinate, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Boswellia Serrata Resin Extract, Betaine, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Carbomer, Phenyl Trimethicone, Potassium Hydroxide, Disodium EDTA, Isopentyldiol, Propanediol, Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate, Sucrose Palmitate, Ceramide NP (Ceramide 3), Elaeagnus Glabra Extract, Propanediol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Cedrus Atlantica Bark Oil Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Extract

The fit of this mask is perfect, but Mediheal Capsule 100 Bio Seconderm Hydroᵝ is really rare to find. I was surprised by how thin and how well it fits my skin. It feels like a super moisturising mask even if it contains lots of oils. It won’t be a mask for everyone. It’s a product that contains two steps, you put the mask on first and then follow it with the capsule. My main problem was with this capsule - it smells like pure plastic. I guess it was rich in beta-glucan since this ingredient always smells to me like plastic or yeast.

Sadly, I can’t find Mediheal Capsule 100 Bio Seconderm Hydroᵝ at any online store, but there are other good masks from Mediheal.

Mediheal Derma Synergy Wrapping Mask Sheet Moisture Care: Hyaluron x Panthenol

According to Olive Young, this mask was the number 1 product right after release, and I’m not surprised because this mask is so good! It contains 8 types of hyaluronic acid in different molecular sizes and Panthenol. Such a combo is ideal for dehydrated skin, and during winter or after strong sun, this combination will be the best thing for you.

It’s a vegan-friendly mask with a good fit. The amount of essence is huge, you can easily get rayon pads and leave them for the evening or a day. There’s no alcohol or scent ingredients. It’s definitely a good option.

I got it at Olive Young*, it costs around $3/mask. You can use my code BETWEEN0 to save on your order.

Mediheal Hyaluronate Essential Mask Sheet Ultra Hydration

Mediheal Hyaluronate Essential Mask Sheet Ultra Hydration

These masks are loved for a reason! I used a few of these in January. It's based on 3X Ultra Booster, a solution based on Panthenol, Squalane and PHA. I know that PHA reminds some people of exfoliation, but PHA below 10% has moisturising properties. It's a great acid for sensitive skin. Mediheal Hyaluronate Essential Mask Sheet Ultra Hydration is recommended after sun exposure and for dry skin.

The bamboo-based mask feels nice on the skin, but I had some difficulties putting it on. Not sure what has happened. It’s rich in essence. Some of the essence even got into my eyes, and it stings. So keep that in mind.

A single Mediheal Hyaluronate Essential Mask Sheet Ultra Hydration costs about 2$ at Olive Young*. A set* of 10 masks costs around $13.50. Feel free to use my affiliate code BETWEEND0 to save on your order.

Mediheal Madecassoside Essential Mask Sheet Blemish Repair

Mediheal Madecassoside Essential Mask Sheet Blemish Repair

Water, Propanediol, Dipropylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Trehalose, Hydroxyacetophenone, Arginine, Carbomer, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Octyldodeceth-16, Juniperus Virginiana Oil, Madecassoside (50 ppm), Pyrus Communis (Pear) Fruit Extract, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Pogostemon Cablin Oil, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Iris Florentina Root Extract, Cucumis Melo (Melon) Fruit Extract, Artemisia Vulgaris Oil, Hedera Helix (Ivy) Leaf/Stem Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Butylene Glycol, Sea Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cyperus Rotundus Root Extract, Benzyl Glycol, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol, Ceramide NP

Mediheal Madecassoside Essential Mask Sheet Blemish Repair is one of the bestsellers. According to mediheal, it's made with 98% purity madecassoside made with 198-hour extraction technology. It's made with the use of low temperature. Does it help with redness and irritation? Yes, although this mask won’t be for everyone since Rosemary Leaf Oil contains camphor that can cause some reactions. For me, it’s one of the masks I keep repurchasing.

Mediheal Madecassoside Essential Mask Sheet Blemish Repair is available at Olive Young*. A single mask costs about 2$. A set* of 10 masks costs around $13.50. Feel free to use my affiliate code BETWEEND0 to save on your order.

Mediheal NMF Nude Gel Mask Sheet

Mediheal NMF Nude Gel Mask Sheet

Water, Butylene Glycol, Chondrus Crispus Powder, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ceratonia Siliqua (Carob) Gum, Glycerine, Agar, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar) Gum, Hydroxyacetophenone, Chlorphenesin, Glucose, Potassium Chloride, Glycereth-25 PCA Isostearate, Xanthan Gum, Erythritol, Xylitol, Trehalose, Panthenol, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Adenosine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fomes Officinalis (Mushroom) Extract, Disodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Betula Platyphylla Japonica Juice, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Ceramide NP, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Tocopherol, Ceramide NS, Cholesterol, Phytosphingosine, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Ceramide AS, Ceramide AP, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Potassium Hyaluronate, Ceramide EOP

Mediheal NMF Nude Gel Mask Sheet is a mask which I tried before, but I had a bit of negative feelings towards it. Somehow, my last experience changed my opinion. It’s a mask that’s literally covered in protective layers, and removing them is a bit tricky. What I love is that there are parts of the eyes and lips which you can use on nasolabial folds, which you can apply under the mask. It’s also a mask made out of two parts: top and bottom. This system makes it easier to apply.

It gives my skin a cooling sensation, but it moisturises well. It's a formula focused on moisture. There are 8 types of hyaluronic acid, 5 types of ceramides, panthenol, birch juice, xylitol and erythritol in the essence. It’s not the cheapest, but definitely a good one.

Mediheal NMF Nude Gel Mask Sheet costs 5$ per mask at Olive Young*. Feel free to use my affiliate code BETWEEND0 to save on your order.

Overall, my January sheet mask experience was good. Let me know which mask you want to try or what’s a sheet mask you would recommend
