I guess there’s no strict answer to this question, but one thing I have to mention for sure is that, in the case of d’Alba White Truffle Double Serum & Cream, it makes more sense than you might think. Because it combines two different textures, you can adjust d’Alba White Truffle Double Serum & Cream to suit different skin types - the key is in the ratio of serum to cream you mix together.
d’Alba White Truffle Double Serum & Cream is not the only product of this type. Previously, I tried Neogen Vita Duo Cream, aka Joan Day & Night Vita Cream, and AXIS-Y Cera-Heart My Type Duo Cream, but these two were more focused on offering two different cream textures, while d’Alba combines a cream and a serum texture.
White truffle in skincare

d’Alba White Truffle Double Serum & Cream has a really interesting formula because you can adjust the ratio of serum and cream to better suit your skin type and preferences. This was actually a bit of a surprise for me, as I’ve always thought that d’Alba products would be too rich for my skin. I tend to associate the brand’s formulas with dry or very dry skin, but this product proved me wrong.
Personally, I really enjoy using the serum on its own because the texture is lightweight, hydrating, and much more comfortable on my skin than I expected. When I mix it with the cream, the formula becomes richer and needs a little more time to absorb, but it also leaves a comfortable moisturizing film on the skin. It doesn’t feel unpleasantly heavy - instead, my skin feels soft, nourished, and well moisturized, with the hydration lasting for hours.
