Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm, Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia, Femmue Lumiere Vital C, Femmue Dream Glow Revitalize Radiance Mask and Femmue Dream Glow Plump Firm Mask

Winter is not my favourite season, even if I can stand lower temperatures better than higher ones, I'm usually waiting for spring and cherry blossom. Thankfully, Femmue is bringing flowers to our skincare routines with its amazing collection of elegant products. I tried a few products from Femmue lately - Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm, Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia, Femmue Lumiere Vital C, Femmue Dream Glow Revitalize Radiance Mask and Femmue Dream Glow Plump Firm Mask and I want to introduce you to the brand.

This post was made in collaboration with Femmue, still it shows my personal opinion and experience with Femmue's products.

I'm not new to Femmue, I had a chance to test a miniature version of Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm earlier this year, but I have to admit that even if Femmue is a bit hard to find, it's an interesting, niche skincare brand. Femmue is currently rising in Japan, but it doesn't mean that you won't find this brand on the international market.

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm

About the brand Femmue

If you thought that Femmue is a Japanese brand then you're wrong. Femmue is a brand created by Kelly Chung, the main inspiration for the brand was flowers. Femmue is a mixture of technology and botanical plants. It's a niche skincare brand, and I swear you won't find any similar brand on the market*. According to Femmue's Instagram, it took Kelly four years to develop Femmue's skincare line. This brand is all about flowers and their power.

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm

Femmue is a cruelty-free brand, each of Femmue's products has a cute bunny icon on the packaging. Sustainability and ecology are important for Femmue as well.

I swear you won't find any similar brand on the market*

Yes, I said that about Femmue, but I believe for some of you, Femmue might be similar to Fresh. Why I don't think that Femmue and Fresh are similar? Even if both brands are cruelty-free and focused on nature and sustainability, Femmue's focus is mostly on flowers. The brand aesthetic is also different.

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm

A cleansing balm with a jelly-like texture. Suitable for combination, dry, normal, oily, and sensitive skin. This cleansing balm is cruelty-free.

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm - Packaging

I love the pink aesthetic of Femmue packaging. Inside you can find a thick glass jar with a white cap. The jar contains 50g of the product.

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm - Texture & Scent

I can smell a strong scent similar to camphor in Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm even if the scent is floral. The texture is like jelly or honey, it spreads but not as easily as Banila Co cleansing balm or any other cleansing balm I tried. Is it a bad thing? Not really.

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm - Ingredients

Glycerin, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Diglycerin, Sucrose Stearate, Polyglyceryl-10 Behenate/Eicosadioate, C12-14 Pareth-12, Beeswax, Cetearyl Alcohol, Water, Glyceryl Behenate/Eicosadioate, Glyceryl Stearate, Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Amyris Balsamifera Bark Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Leaf Oil, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sodium Dilauramidoglutamide Lysine

Glycerin or Glycerol is a humectant. Its origin can be natural or synthetic - depending on the product. It protects TEWL (transepidermal water loss) and naturally occurs in the skin. It's one of the NMFs - natural moisturizing factors. It's practical in hair care. Glycerin won't clog your skin or irritate it just the opposite - it protects your skin from irritation. Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil is an oil which you probably know well from your kitchen. Olive Oil in cosmetics works as an emollient. It's a source of many antioxidants and vitamins such as vitamins A, and E and fatty acids like oleic acid. It has nourishing properties. Ethylhexyl Palmitate is an oily emollient that provides a satin-like film on the skin. It makes brushing your hair easier. Diglycerin, as the name says, is related to glycerin. It's a humectant and NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor). Sucrose Stearate is an emulsifier and a delicate emollient. Polyglyceryl-10 Behenate/Eicosadioate is an emulsifier. C12-14 Pareth-12 is an emulsifier and surfactant. Beeswax or Cire D'abeille (or Cera Alba) is a non-vegan (and vegetarian) friendly emollient. Cetearyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol. In the beauty industry, it's an emollient. Many people associate alcohol with something awful for the epidermis, but not every alcohol is nasty. Cetearyl alcohol leaves a moisturizing film on the skin to prevent your skin from transepidermal water loss (TEWL). We use Cetearyl alcohol to create an emulsion. Water hides in cosmetic products under names such as Aqua or Eau. It's a solvent, but it's not your regular drinking water. Water in skin care needs to fit some standards. It should be clean and free from minerals, microorganisms or other substances. Usually, water makes up the majority of the content of the product. Glyceryl Behenate/Eicosadioate is an emollient. Glyceryl Stearate is an emollient with emulsifying properties. Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil is an oil that usually comes from Africa. It's a source of lauric, myristic, oleic and palmitic acid. Palm oil also contains Vitamin E, beta-carotene and ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10). Beta-carotene gives it a red colour. This antioxidant has emollient properties. Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil is an essential oil derived from the lemon. It has antiseptic properties but it's a perfuming substance. It might be a bit sensitive to the sun. Tocopheryl Acetate is a form of Vitamin E, Tocopherol. It's an antioxidant that helps with skin & hair hydration and prevents TEWL (transepidermal water loss). This ester form of Tocopherol is more stable, but it's not as effective. Some people consider it a preservative, but Vitamin E should be used as a preservative. It's good to mix it with Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid.

Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil is an essential oil. It has a typical scent that might remind you of Earl Grey tea, in the beauty industry we use it for the same purposes, even if it is told to have mild anti-septic properties and help with sebum production. Usually, Bergamot Fruit Oil contains furanocoumarins - phototoxic substances, but there are also furanocoumarin-free versions of this oil. Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Oil or Neroli Oil is a source of linalool, limonene, nerolidol and nerol. It's an essential oil that not only brings the scent to the product, antiseptic and antibacterial. It can be useful in targeting cellulite. Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil is rich in linoleic acid and it has soothing properties. Camellia Japonica Seed Oil or Tsubaki oil. It's a source of vitamins A and E and omega acids. Camellia Japonica Seed Oil is great for dry skin and hair. Camellia Japonica Seed Oil might help with split ends. Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Fruit Oil is an emollient rich in linoleic acid. It's a natural antioxidant with anti-aging properties. It's recommended for mature skin, but also acne-prone skin. Amyris Balsamifera Bark Oil is a scented oil. Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil is an oily emollient and source of lecithin, oleic acid and linoleic acid. It can help with skin regeneration. Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil Unsaponifiables is an emollient. It's rich in linoleic acid and tocopherol. It helps with the dryness of the skin. Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil is an emollient and a source of vitamin E. The structure of jojoba oil is very similar to human sebum, that's why all skin types shouldn't be scared of this oil. It creates a delicate, non-oily film barrier on the surface of the skin. It helps to restore your hydrolipid barrier. Jojoba oil can be applied straight onto the skin. In hair care, jojoba oil makes hair stronger and hydrated. PS. Jojoba oil isn't an oil, but a waxy ester. Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Leaf Oil is a scent ingredient and essential oil. Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract can be a huge surprise since it has anti-aging properties. It adds flavour to the product but it also has antioxidant properties. 1,2-Hexanediol is a synthetic solvent and preservative - it protects products from microorganisms by boosting other preservatives. At the same time, it can moisturize the skin, and it has no unpleasant effects on your epidermis. Sodium Dilauramidoglutamide Lysine is an emulsifier with moisturizing properties.

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm

How does Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm work?

I tried Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm before, so it's not my first meeting with a brand. The packaging is a surprise since not many brands are using glass containers for their products. Inside the jar, you can find a jelly texture. It reminds me of Farmacy honey mask - very similar texture, but this one is not a mask, it's a cleansing balm.

I use it on my entire face including my face, even if I wear lenses and my eyes are super sensitive. My first introduction to the brand wasn't the happiest one, because it made my eyes hurt. The fault was in the way I apply this cleansing balm on my face. If you cleanse your lashes from mascara I recommend doing motions that go from up to down. I used it with waterproof mascara and it taught me to be less harsh for my eye area and lashes.

Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm emulsifies with water so once you remove everything with cleansing balm then go for water and it'll turn into an emulsion.

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia

This Camellia oil is a 100% natural composition with 67% of Camellia Seed Oil from Jeju Island. It's cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types. The regular bottle contains 30ml of the product, but the miniature version in the photo contains 10ml.

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia - Packaging

I didn't test a full-size version, but the Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia miniature comes in glass packaging (just like the full-size version) with a pipette. This product comes in a pink box that fits the aesthetic of the brand.

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia - Texture & Scent

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia smells like flowers and has a lightweight, yellowish texture.

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia - Ingredients

Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Canola Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Bisabolol, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Tocopherol, Astaxanthin, Pelargonium Graveolens Oil, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil, Jasminum Sambac (Jasmine) Oil, Cedrus Atlantica Bark Oil

Camellia Japonica Seed Oil or Tsubaki oil. It's a source of vitamins A and E and omega acids. Camellia Japonica Seed Oil is great for dry skin and hair. Camellia Japonica Seed Oil might help with split ends. Canola Oil is nothing else than Rapeseed Oil. It's a source of oleic acid and vitamin E, a quality oily emollient for dry skin. Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Fruit Oil is an emollient rich in linoleic acid. It's a natural antioxidant with anti-aging properties. It's recommended for mature skin, but also acne-prone skin. Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil is an emollient with antioxidant properties. It's a source of polyphenols such as flavonoids and resveratrol. It's a very lightweight oil. It fits all skin types. Bisabolol is a substance derived from Chamomile. It has anti-inflammatory properties and it speeds up the wound-healing process. It's a great ingredient to calm sensitive skin. The good news is that even if you're allergic to chamomile, you can still use bisabolol. Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil is rich in linoleic acid and it has soothing properties. Tocopherol is an antioxidant known as Vitamin E. It's an oil-soluble vitamin that fights free radicals and makes UVB protection and natural lipid barrier stronger. It's good to mix it with vitamin C for better effects. Oily skin might react with pore-clogging to vitamin E. It is not true that vitamin E works as a preservative or helps with scars. Astaxanthin is an antioxidant which you probably never heard about, but it's worth adding to your routine. It's an ingredient derived from the microalgae Haematococcus Pluvialis. It is a red or orange pigment, it's also a carotenoid. Why astaxanthin? This antioxidant prevents dehydration, premature aging and age spots on the skin by fighting free radicals and damage made by them. It's not new information that free radicals destroy lipid barriers and make them more prone to dehydration, but we mostly focus on UV damage and aging when we talk about their negative aspects. Astaxanthin is one of the most powerful antioxidants. It speeds up wound healing, helps with collagen and elastin synthesis, inhibits melanin synthesis and might help with puffiness. Pelargonium Graveolens Oil is an essential oil ideal for acne-prone and mature skin types. It moderates sebum production, has antibacterial properties and can help with cellulite. It makes blood vessels less fragile. It's mostly used for its scent properties. Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil is a scent ingredient. Jasminum Sambac (Jasmine) Oil is a scent ingredient that can be sensitizing. Cedrus Atlantica (Atlas Cedar) Bark Oil is a source of cedrol and cedrene. This oil has antibacterial, antiseptic and perfuming ingredients. It can react to UV.

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia

How does Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia work?

I love Camellia Oil, even if it's mostly popular in hair care. It's a 10ml product so this is more like my first impression than a review. The product has a great texture. I got acne-prone skin so I prefer when my oils are not super oily, but more lightweight and dry. This one is just like that. The scent is so good, the texture is ideal. I guess I know why Femmue called it an Ideal Oil. We are supposed to apply this one right after using a toner but onto dry skin. It's a good product to massage your face.

The biggest surprise for me in this formula is Astaxanthin - an antioxidant which I learned about during my cosmetic chemistry lectures and dietetics lectures. I'm not a fan of supplements, but Astaxanthin as a supplement and as an ingredient in skincare is probably a rare ingredient which I recommend in both forms.

Femmue Lumiere Vital C

Brightening serum based on Ascorbyl Glucoside. This Vitamin C serum is cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types.

Femmue Lumiere Vital C

Femmue Lumiere Vital C - Packaging

I didn't test a full-size version, but the Femmue Lumiere Vital C miniature comes in black glass packaging (just like the full-size version) with a pipette. Is black glass necessary? Not really since it's a serum with Ascorbyl Glucoside, not Ascorbic Acid, but still it's a good way to avoid oxidation.

Femmue Lumiere Vital C - Texture & Scent

Femmue Lumiere Vital C doesn't smell like your typical vitamin C, it has a floral scent and delicate, transparent texture. I have no idea if it can oxidize or not since it's hard to check on the 10ml version, but it shouldn't oxidize as quickly as ascorbic acid.

Femmue Lumiere Vital C

Femmue Lumiere Vital C - Ingredients

Water, Pentylene Glycol, Glycerin, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Arginine, Bisabolol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Hordeum Vulgare Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Propanediol, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Leaf Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Betaine, Niacinamide, Panthenol, Cellulose Gum, Jasminum Sambac (Jasmine) Oil, Rose Flower Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, Sorbitan Caprylate, Levulinic Acid, Hesperidin, Rutin, Naringin

Water hides in cosmetic products under names such as Aqua or Eau. It's a solvent, but it's not your regular drinking water. Water in skin care needs to fit some standards. It should be clean and free from minerals, microorganisms or other substances. Usually, water makes up the majority of the content of the product. Pentylene Glycol is mostly a solvent and stabilizer, but it has great moisturizing properties. Ascorbyl Glucoside is a form of Vitamin C. It's an antioxidant and skin-brightening ingredient - it stimulates collagen (type I and III) and elastin production. Ascorbyl Glucoside helps with pigmentation - both PIE & PIH. It's better to use Vitamin C during the morning routine because it boosts the efficiency of sunscreen. Ascorbyl Glucoside is one of the best forms of vitamin C in skincare since it can penetrate the skin deeper. It's good to mix ascorbyl glucoside with niacinamide. Arginine is an amino acid. It helps with protein biosynthesis in adults. According to research from 1964, a lack of arginine might raise your chance to get an HSV infection. Bisabolol is a substance derived from Chamomile. It has anti-inflammatory properties and it speeds up the wound-healing process. It's a great ingredient to calm sensitive skin. The good news is that even if you're allergic to chamomile, you can still use bisabolol. Centella Asiatica Extract is probably the most popular extract in skincare. It comes under a few names - Asiatic pennywort, tiger grass or Gotu kola. Centella Asiatica's roots are in Ayurveda. This extract is successful because it's a source of triterpene saponins - madecassoside and asiaticoside. Centella Asiatica Extract has anti-inflammatory properties. It speeds up the wound-healing process. You can use it to treat acne since it has soothing and antibacterial properties. It boosts fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin or even helps with hyaluronic acid synthesis. Centella is recommended for rosacea and cellulitis since it helps with blood microcirculation. In hair care, Centella can help with hair growth.

Femmue Lumiere Vital C

Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract is an antioxidant. Scutellaria Baicalensis also known as the Chinese skullcap is one of the fundamental herbs in Chinese traditional medicine. Skullcap Root Extract has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It's a source of flavonoids, alkaloids and other substances. It's great for sensitive skin as well as acne-prone skin. It might help you with pigmentation. Hordeum Vulgare Extract or Barley Extract is an antioxidant that helps with skin elasticity. It might not be the best ingredient since barley is a source of gluten. Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract is an ingredient which I prefer to see in skincare than seeing liquorice as food. It's an amazing antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. It can help with acne and visible red veins and it brightens the skin. Or I should say it works on pigmentation. What's better than an anti-inflammatory ingredient with brightening properties? Liquorice is not new, since it's a popular ingredient in traditional herbal medicine. It's a source of glycyrrhizinic acid and glabridin. Propanediol is also known as natural glycol - an alternative to propylene glycol. Propanediol is a solvent with additional moisturizing properties. It makes the product smooth to the touch. It can even improve the effectiveness of active ingredients. Polygonum Cuspidatum (Japanese Knotweed) Root Extract is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract is an antioxidant - it fights free radicals and fixes the damage. Green tea is a source of many positive skin substances such as catechins (EGCG, EGC, EC, CG), flavonoids, amino acids, vitamin C, and minerals. It works for all skin types. Since it has antibacterial properties, many products for young, acne-prone skin contain this ingredient. It has soothing properties, and it's good to use it along with sunscreen to boost the protection of your skin. Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract is a source of camphor, pinene, terpineol and rosmarinic acid. It's an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It boosts hair growth and calms the scalp.

Hyaluronic Acid is an ingredient loved by everyone! Hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in the skin. It's a glycosaminoglycan or GAG. What does that mean? It's a long polysaccharide - nothing else than sugar, and we all know what sugars do in the skin. It's not different from Hyaluronic Acid - it acts like a humectant. One HA molecule is supposed to hold up to 1000x heavier molecules than this one single HA molecule. Hyaluronic acid can have different molecular weights - smaller molecules are usually more hydrating than bigger ones. Betaine is an amino acid. In skincare products, we use it for its moisturizing properties. Betaine keeps the water balance of the skin. It makes wrinkles appear less visible, and it soothes irritated skin. In hair care, betaine doesn't only moisturize the hair. It makes hair soft and shiny. Betaine in cosmetics usually comes from sweet beetroots. It naturally occurs in the skin and hair. Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 - a vitamin soluble in water. It helps with problems like wrinkles, acne, skin texture, and enlarged pores and promotes collagen synthesis. Niacinamide makes the skin barrier stronger. It might be handy in cellulite treatments. Do you want to fight pigmentation or uneven skin? Try to mix niacinamide with Kojic Acid, Arbutin, Vitamin C, Tranexamic Acid or Retinol. Panthenol is a humectant. It prevents skin from TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss). Panthenol is also known as vitamin B5, and it helps with inflammation. Panthenol can soothe the skin irritated by preservatives, scent ingredients, and chemical sunscreens - it might have a meaning for lipids in our skin and skin barrier. It speeds up the healing process. It's good to use it after sunbathing. In hair care, Panthenol has moisturizing properties. If you have problems detangling your hair or hair growth go for Panthenol. It is good to mix it with niacinamide and zinc oxide. You can see it in products for atopic dermatitis or psoriasis. Cellulose Gum is a natural polymer. It works as a thickener. Jasminum Sambac (Jasmine) Oil is a scent ingredient that can be sensitizing. Rose Flower Oil is a scented oil. Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil is an emollient and source of linoleic acid, oleic acid, vitamin E, flavonoids and sterols. It's also a powerful antioxidant suitable for oily skin. Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate is an emulsifier. Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate is an emulsifier. Not every acne-prone skin will enjoy it. Sorbitan Caprylate is an emulsifier. Levulinic Acid is a preservative. Hesperidin is an antioxidant and flavonoid that naturally occurs in citrus fruits. It helps with the brightening of the skin. Rutin is a flavonoid and antioxidant. It might help brighten your skin. Naringin is a bioflavonoid.

How does Femmue Lumiere Vital C work?

This Vitamin C serum became another Vitamin C solution I adore. The scent is perfect, the texture is ideal. It's not too heavy. At first, I would never believe it was a vitamin C serum because it lacks many typical things for vitamin C serum. Usually, we associate Vitamin C with orange or yellow colour, even sometimes when we buy Vitamin C serum the colour from the start is a bit yellow. Not transparent.

Femmue Lumiere Vital C comes in the black glass even if it's not based on the most basic form of it - ascorbic acid. I said it a few times - some Vitamin C serums don't go along with makeup and they can make your makeup pile up or just completely mess up the application process, but it's 3rd Vitamin C serum I can use with makeup products.

I found out that this serum also comes in a 50ml version.

Water hides in cosmetic products under names such as Aqua or Eau. It's a solvent, but it's not your regular drinking water. Water in skin care needs to fit some standards. It should be clean and free from minerals, microorganisms or other substances. Usually, water makes up the majority of the content of the product. Butylene Glycol is a common ingredient in products. It's not only a solvent. We use butylene glycol because it helps with the penetration of active ingredients, protects products from drying and moisturizes skin and hair. This ingredient can prevent hair loss and make your hair stronger. Glycereth-26 is a synthetic emollient and humectant. Even the name reminds us of glycerin - it's not a surprise since Glycereth-26 is related to glycerin. It has thickening properties. 1,2-Hexanediol is a synthetic solvent and preservative - it protects products from microorganisms by boosting other preservatives. Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract is a source of tartaric acid, malic acid, ferulic acid, catechins, resveratrol and zeaxanthin. It's a moisturizing antioxidant. It helps with puffiness. Morus Alba (Mulberry) Fruit Extract is a source of fumaric acid, eugenol, histidine, rutin, vitamins, minerals and β-sitosterol. It's an antioxidant that can inhibit tyrosinase synthesis. It helps treat pigmentation. It has soothing properties. Euphorbia Supina Stem Extract is an antioxidant.

Chamomilla Recutita is a plant that you might know from traditional medicine. It's a source of chamazulene and bisabolol. Skincare brands use Chamomilla as an anti-inflammatory agent. Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract has soothing properties, but it can cause allergic reactions. Chamomile is known as a natural herb to brighten blonde hair. Carbomer is a synthetic thickener. Tromethamine is a synthetic pH adjuster. Hydroxyethylcellulose is a thickener and it creates a protective film on the skin. Adenosine naturally occurs in the skin. One of the adenosine's roles in our bodies is being a neurotransmitter. In skin care, we use adenosine for its anti-wrinkle properties. Adenosine is an anti-inflammatory ingredient. It can boost collagen production. At the same time, it speeds up the healing process. Adenosine can have positive effects on reducing redness. In hair care, adenosine can help with hair loss. Disodium EDTA neutralizes metal ions in the formula to keep products fresh. Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil is an essential oil. It makes a product smell nice. Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil is an essential oil that adds scent to the product. It might help with cellulite. Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil is an essential oil derived from the lemon. It has antiseptic properties but it's a perfuming substance. It might be a bit sensitive to the sun. Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil is an essential oil with an astonishing scent. It's rich in limonene and it can have brightening and antiseptic properties. It might be phototoxic but we can't deny the scent is quite relaxing. Sodium Hyaluronate or sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. It's a form of hyaluronic acid and naturally occurs in the skin. Sodium Hyaluronate has strong water-binding properties. Sodium hyaluronate combined with elastin and collagen is like a scaffolding for the skin. It has hydrating properties and leaves a hydrating film on the skin, but sodium hyaluronate prevents skincare products from drying.

Glycereth-26 is a synthetic emollient and humectant. Even the name reminds us of glycerin - it's not a surprise since Glycereth-26 is related to glycerin. It has thickening properties. 1,2-Hexanediol is a synthetic solvent and preservative - it protects products from microorganisms by boosting other preservatives. At the same time, it can moisturize the skin, and it has no unpleasant effects on your epidermis. Ethylhexylglycerin is a preservative with subtle moisturizing and antimicrobial properties. Sorbitan Sesquioleate is a water-in-oil emulsifier. Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract is a source of flavonoids, anthocyanins, ferulic acid, caffeic acid, minerals and vitamins. Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract is an antioxidant. Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Fruit Extract or Blackberry Extract is a source of gallotannin, citric acid, malic acid, flavonoids, anthocyanins, vitamins and minerals. It's an antioxidant.

How do Femmue Dream Glow Revitalize Radiance Mask and Femmue Dream Glow Plump Firm Mask work?

The problem is that I don't like to review sheet masks after one single mask. The mask has a nice texture and I'm glad this product is rich in texture. Packaging can be a problem since at first I thought I got two masks of the same product. Nope, there are two different masks. It's a nice experience, but these masks aren't the cheapest.

Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia and Femmue Lumiere Vital C

How much do Femmue product cost and where to buy them?

Speaking of the price, Femmue is a niche brand which you can buy on Revolve. Full-size Femmue Extraordinary Beauty Cleansing Balm costs $55. Femmue Ideal Oil Camellia costs $80/30ml. Femmue Lumiere Vital C costs $108/30ml. There's also a 50ml version, but I can't find it on Revolve. Vitamin C serums might be more expensive depending on the Vitamin C form. Some can be more expensive.

Femmue Dream Glow Revitalize Radiance Mask and Femmue Dream Glow Plump Firm Mask cost $58/6 pieces (6x30g).

Overall, Femmue is an elegant niche brand. The scent of Ideal Oil and Vitamin C serum got my heart, especially Ideal Oil is interesting to me because it contains a powerful antioxidant called Astaxanthin, but the choice is yours since niche brands have one problem - they are usually more expensive and luxurious, but sometimes it's good to get a bit of luxury in daily life.

Anyway, this month was a bit hard for me and using the occasion, I want to wish you all the best for Christmas and the Holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays 🎄

Let me know what you think about Femmue, have you ever tried this brand?
